About Our President


Mrs. Varetta Huggins has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology, College Education, and Financial industries. 

Her expertise is in Project/Program/Portfolio Management, Earned Value Management, Risk Management, Acquisition Management, and Systems Engineering. 


Mrs. Huggins has over 20 years of experience in Project/Program/Portfolio Management, Earned Value Management, Risk Management, Capital Planning, Acquisition Management, Systems Engineering, Software Development, and Configuration Management.  She has managed many Federal Government investments and portfolios valued over $500 Million in life cycle costs, while working with Executives, Directors, and Chief Information Officers (CIOs) at Federal Agencies such as Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), U.S. Department of Education (DoED), and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS).  She has also managed many weather system projects for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS) under the Tsunami, AWIPS, and NEXRAD programs.  She has also managed many Acquisition projects for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under the Technical Training, Wake Turbulence Mitigation for Departures (WTMD), and Data Communications NEXTGEN Programs.  She has also worked as a Computer Programmer on the National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA) Stratospheric and Gas Experiment (SAGE) II Program. She held progressively technical and management federal contracting positions in the Information Technology industry with companies that included SAIC, Keane, Advanced Systems, Inc., North Star Group, and Integrated Systems Solutions.


Mrs. Huggins is dedicated to creating a company which provides solutions using a Project Management process-oriented approach; provides excellent customer satisfaction; is employee focused; provides financial scholarships to degree seekers; and fosters an environment where honesty and ethical conduct are valued and integrity is un-compromised.


Volunteer Service


Mrs. Huggins is currently serving as a Member of Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) and an Advocate Member of U.S. Women Chamber of Commerce (USWCC).

Mrs. Huggins has also served with Engineering organizations such as the DC Association for Computing Machinery (DC-ACM) as the Member-At-Large and  the IEEE Washington DC Section as the position of Director, the IEEE Washington DC Section from 2011-2012;and  Chair and Vice-Chair, IEEE Women in Engineering Washington DC Metro Area from 2009-2011.   During these positions she has worked with a group to discuss STEM Careers while showcasing 3D Printers at a Dulles STEM Fair; taught girls how to do Engineering experiments for the Girls Scout of America in Fredericksburg, VA; gave a presentation entitled "Why Choose STEM?" to College-aged and High School students at Anne Arundel College; gave a presentation entitled “From Dreams to Reality” to Langley High School Girls; judged a Science Fair at Montgomery Blair High School; lobbied to Congress on the Engineering Education for the Innovation Economy Act; and worked with children and teenagers doing Engineering activities at the annual Rockville Science Day in Rockville MD.


Mrs. Huggins has volunteered her time in other community organizations focused on mentoring children and teenagers.  Mrs. Huggins is passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education and she enjoys mentoring and engaging young people in the excitement of learning these disciplines.  Her unique approach to understanding each individual and the environment in which they live and providing their emotional, spiritual, and educational needs, truly sets her apart from her peers.



Mrs. Huggins earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Hampton University in Hampton, VA. After moving to the Washington DC area, Mrs. Huggins earned a Master of Science degree in Information Systems Technology concentrating in Management Information Systems and a Graduate Certificate in CIO Federal Executive Competencies from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. After extensive experience managing Weather Projects at NWS, Mrs. Huggins earned a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in Newtown Square, PA.  Mrs. Huggins also received certifications in ITIL Service Management and is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Her latest certification is from PMI as a Program Management Professional (PgMP).
