Varetta Huggins is Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of V-Project Management Consulting LLC.
Varetta has over 20 years of experience in the Government Contracting industry working alongside Federal Executives managing Federal Government IT Portfolios of over $500 million. Varetta has worked at federal Agencies such as NASA, NOAA’s National Weather Service, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), US Department of Agriculture (USDA), US Department of Education, and US Agency for International Development (USAID).
Varetta started the Government Contracting Success Program in 2018 to assist small business owners in becoming Government Contractors with the goal of going after a bigger piece of the $500 Billion in Government Contracts awarded to Government Contractors annually.
Varetta earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Hampton University, a Master of Science degree in Information Systems Technology concentrating in Management Information Systems, and a Graduate Certificate in CIO Federal Executive Competencies from the George Washington University. Varetta holds certifications in Program Management Professional (PgMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL Service Management, and Certified Scrum Master (CSM). She has been interviewed by Kathy Ireland and has appeared on FOX and Bloomberg TV. Varetta makes it a priority to give back to her community by giving of her time to her church; participating in local events to mentor children, teens, young adults, and adults; and participating in Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) activities locally. Varetta is also a national speaker at Small Business Expo events and she holds webinars and LIVE events for small business owners, non-profits, and entrepreneurs.
Graeme also provides Price Proposals, Government Contracting Accounting, and Financial Reports for V-PMC and V-GovCon Customers.
After Graeme graduated from Mount Senario College in Ladysmith, Wisconsin with his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Graeme worked for Arthur Andersen LLP as a Tax Analyst. After leaving Arthur Andersen LLP in 2002, Graeme joined Ernst & Young LLP, as a Tax Analyst then Capital Source as a Senior Tax Analyst before joining V-PMC. Graeme has played basketball at the national level in St. Kitts and played in college as a “Fighting Saint”. He has mentored, coached, and trained children, teens, and young adults the skills and techniques of basketball at camps, clinics, tournaments, and schools. Graeme now volunteers his time at church and coaches his daughter’s basketball team. Graeme is an avid San Francisco 49ers Football Fan. Go 49ers!
