About eFAST

eFAST is co-sponsored by the FAA’s Small Business Office and it is the FAA’s preferred Small Business set-aside acquisition vehicle.  eFAST offers multiple contract types such as fixed price, cost reimbursement, time-and-materials, and labor hours.  eFAST orders are non-protestable and the procurement process has been streamlined to reduce procurement times.  eFAST has eliminated subcontracting burden fees and has a low access fee of between 1 to 3 percent.

As a small business in the federal contracting industry, it is extremely difficult to obtain awards as a Prime Contractor,” said V-PMC’s President and CEO, Varetta Huggins, PMP, in response to this award.  “FAA’s eFAST office has made this possible and I am delighted that V-PMC has the capability and approval to work with FAA organizations to provide Project Management, Acquisition Management, and System Development Life Cycle services.  V-PMC is dedicated to hiring, training, and retaining PMP-certified Project Managers and Consultants who are best-in-class to support FAA Organizations and FAA Programs such as Technical Training, NEXTGEN, and Aviation Weather with achieving their business goals and initiatives”.
